SPORTS THEMED ILLUSTRATIONS (ink and graphite)
In this gallery you'll be able to see some of my current and long time favorite sports-themed illustrative drawings. Far more than a likeness, in some cases I forsake a person's typical or best known look to create a theme common to competitive sports or convey a feeling my particular perspective provides. Although many of the pieces on display were done of and for the players of the National Hockey League, Major League Baseball, or the National Football League, others are of High School and college athletes. My goal is to illustrate, not re-create! Most of these original pieces are available as prints and some as hand signed and autographed limited edition art based on their demand. Many fans and everyday folks commission original artwork of their favorite athlete at the pro, college, or amateur levels. FINE ART PORTRAITURE
In this Gallery you'll see details of portrait paintings and drawings. Portraits can be commissioned in either paint or graphite and in a variety of sizes. In some cases portraiture can be done from existing photography, but usually a photo session or live sitting is preferable to achieve the best results. Drawing commissions can be as inexpensive as $350 and are a unique gift that will be cherished for generations. Often inexpensive prints can be made from the original art to share with friends, family and fans!
