How to use this site to order original art, order prints, and talk back to us!
Web surfing has become such a popular pastime that we often forget that there are always folks who may not have the experience they need to make the most out of the TIBSTRA STUDIO website.
Simply move your mouse pointer over a title, picture, navigation bar suggestion, or words that appear in BLUE lettering and press the left button on your mouse to go there. Every one of these ‘links’ will take you somewhere new on the site, enlarge an image, or in a few cases, take you to a trusted site that the link suggests (like SongPlanet or YouTube where you can find our free music and videos), but simply clicking the back arrow at the top left of your browser will return you to the TIBSTRA STUDIO.
HOW TO ORDER ART:
If you’d like to have original art made for you, contact us by phone or email, both of which are easily found on the CONTACT page.
FINE ART PRINTS are the least expensive way to begin collecting art and are found in our on-line store. Prints can be purchased via credit cards or checks. Unlike many 'art print superstores' that simply copy art on photographic paper, our prints are painstakingly mastered and produced on specialty papers and canvas. I personally supervise every aspect of the process and as my favorite clients, players for the Chicago Blackhawks can attest, I can reject as many as a dozen versions of an image until one meets MY requirements!
ORIGINAL DRAWINGS can sometimes be done from your photos-but that depends on the size and quality of the photos you have. There’s absolutely no charge to send images and inquire about commissioning art. BE SURE TO INCLUDE A STAMPED, SELF ADDRESSED ENVELOPE IF YOU'D LIKE THEM TO BE RETURNED. If I don’t believe I can create art consistent with the work you see on this site, I’ll respectfully explain why I won’t take your money to do it. Drawing fees begin at $350 for single images (16 x 20”) and increase as more images are included in the work. Clients pay half of the total cost when they order the art, with the balance due upon completion. Check or credit cards can be used to pay for your artwork. Beautiful fine art prints can be created from the original drawings at a fraction of the cost and are great to give to other family members or friends!
ORIGINAL PAINTINGS are far more time consuming and the costs are much higher then for drawings. Paintings on canvas begin at $1800 (18 x 24”) and increase with the size and complexity of the image(s) involved. Sometimes a painting can be done from photographic references, but its best to begin by arranging a photo session with the TIBSTRA STUDIO. There’s absolutely no charge to send images and inquire about commissioning art, just include a stamped self-addressed envelope to return them in. Clients pay half of the total cost when they order the art, with the balance due upon completion. Check or credit cards can be used to pay for your artwork. Beautiful fine art prints on canvas can be created from the original drawings at a fraction of the cost and are great to give as gifts!
PHOTO RESTORATION AND CONVERSION TO DIGITAL VIDEO is also a service of the Studio. Do you have a cherished photo that has suffered from the ravages of time? We uniquely combine the latest technical innovations with an artist’s ability to recreate lost sections in a photograph to make a digital reproduction of the photo which can then be reprinted on photo paper and/or stored as a digital image. Photos with water damage, creases and torn sections can often be reproduced with amazing results! Slides can also be restored and transferred to digital images for safekeeping or be printed on photo paper.
VIDEO EDITING is the process that allows us to take your photos, slides or VHS videotape and convert any or all of them into a ‘video show’! The TIBSTRA STUDIO VIDEO PLAYER is an example of the process that incorporates all of the ‘multi-media’ sources with special effects, titles and music. Voice over narration is also available!
BLOGS and MESSAGE BOARDS are available for your free use. You have to use the registration form before you can post (simply to allow us to moderate what is posted). Your information is never sold or given out from this site. You can post messages and pictures on the MESSAGE BOARDS and debate timely topics on the BLOG pages!
